thus you will be able to maintain your lower weight without THE DRUDGERY of thinking about every spoon full.

The most simple reason for NOT DIETING is that once you stop taking the Rx PILLS, or END the Diet regimen, we tend to return to our previous habits. We need to Acclimate our minds to accepting our new goals. SO, PERMANENT weight loss requires GOALS, a CHANGE of mind, and EVENTUALLY our eating daily HABITS ~~ BUT at LEAST GET IT STARTED.
Its infectious once you start losing, you can challenge your self to lose more.


There's LOTS of TEMPTING FAT foods out there.
The CHOICES we make need to be limited to what will NOT contribute to weight gain.  Thus we must avoid SUGAR loaded JUICES & Soda for one obvious example. Snacks, potato chips, cakes, cookies, etc, need I say more.

I stopped drinking fruit juices of any kind - just read the label- They are loaded with 28 grams of SUGAR anything with more than 13 grams of sugar is a NO NO. The ONLY juice I drink is 2 ounces of Orange Juice with a slice of cantalope, or watermelon prior to breakfast. 

Yeh, I know YOUR Starving when you get home and want something FAST--- TRY THIS ONE Tomato juice-low salt & add lemon juice- is very low caloric content, which makes for a good appetizer prior to dinner. Add eating a CARROT to get the CHEW effect.

Heres the MAIN SECRET no matter what some of those so called secret diet plans profess.

                                    SO__NOW, HERE'S HOW
If you weigh more than you should, then the BEST way to START losing weight is 
                                  NOT to go on a CRASH DIET-  
JUST EAT the SAME FOOD you are accustomed to 
                                                                 BUT 
                    ***EAT A LOT LESS OF IT ***-

HOW THE {#^@*#} do we do that, you ask ??
Here's a couple tricks you can use to REDUCE the amount of food you consume at each meal.

1. PUT LESS ON YOUR PLATE -- DUH, no brainer.
2. FILL your plate and immediately put HALF AWAY in a plastic container for tomrrow
3. DONT place a bowl of potato's or a platter of anything on the dinner table-
    keep it at the other end of the kitchen.
4. PREPARE less food than you used to do.
5. TELL YOURSELF OUT LOUD-

6. COUNT your calories for ONE WEEK ONLY - keep a record of what you eat &
    how many calories each item has. ONLINE calorie site is available-just use Google

 *SCROLL DOWN TO BOTTOM FOR AN EASY CALORIE COUNTING METHOD*
7. After one month and several pounds dropped, COUNT them again for a few days
    and you will see an obvious difference.
8. NOW - SET YOUR GOALS - REDUCE the total daily calorie intake by
   ELIMINATING some foods you know are sticking to your ribs-
             ###  You know what they are- I dont have to tell you that. ###
9. START making those meals lean & mean, cutting back until you get under 2000 calories.
10. Eat your dinner earlier in the day, 4pm, IF POSSIBLE- if not don't worry about it.

NOTE
There are PRODUCTS available that CLAIM to SOAK UP FAT- making you think you can eat
anything and the product will remove the calories from your stomach- Don't believe it!!!

Advertised products such as Sensa have their own problems - contains milk, hmm.
Feel full Cookies- Require a FULL glass of water prior to each meal-  
Not for me, but you can try it.

 ALL those FAD diet aides & crap DO NOTHING to CHANGE your attitude toward FOOD- 
Hoodia or Green tea with Caffeine ACTUALLY MAKE ME HUNGRY -ugh not for me.

WHAT ABOUT THE NEW STUFF CALLED SENSA?? THATS JUST A BANDAID, and it wont HELP you to CHANGE your ATTITUDE toward FOOD. ONCE you stop using it, you will automatically go back to your old routine , and the weight will come right back.

***Here's another TIP
EATING MORE OFTEN is highly recommended by most dieticians.
WHY ? simple -the WORST THING we can do to ourselves is FEEL DEPRIVED and or Famished. Then we tend to eat the first thing we see, or over stuff our faces.
Or you will surely CHEAT & we DON'T want THAT AT ALL- do we.
EATING MORE OFTEN?- recommendations range up to 6 times A day, 
but of course that may not be possible given our schedules. 
DON'T GO FOR FAST FOOD - 
Just stop in to the supermarket and get an APPLE, some other FRUIT , Greek Yogurt, Salad, or similar. Greek Yogurt has 12 grams of protein- wow. - I like Vanilla w no fruit.

Another thing that's also KEY to weight loss is eating an abundance of 
FRUITS & VEGETABLES- CHOOSE them over that other CRAP.
AND DRINK MORE WATER.

NOW remember, it really is OK to CHEAT {on rare occasions ONLY}, 
and consider that a TREAT, 
but remember what it will do to your goals, not to mention your weight if cheating becomes more than occasional.

WALKING at least a mile a day or every other day, not only helps weight loss, but keeps us HEALTHY in MANY other ways. That is NOT strenuous exercise & no club memberships.
Also remember to take a few deep breaths each day. Its has a nerve calming effect.
Both of the above are important, and I might add should not be a strain on our daily schedules.

ONE serving counting
3.5 ounces Chicken = 150 - 200  and is 27 grams protein
3.5 ounces Beef = 175 to 300                 26   "
3.5 ounces Fish = 170 to 200                  23   "
3.5 ounces Lamb = 190 to 250               26   "
3.5 ounces Pork = 250 to 300                 26   "
3.5 ounces  is about the size of your hand palm
the differences above is due to the way it is cooked

NOTE also
You dont have to eat a BALANCED MEAL each time -  eg, appetizer, soup, salad, entre, desert
THINK of  MEAL PLANNING as a BALANCED DAY. You can be a little more liberal than what I'm suggesting below , but keep it to a minimum.

Dont SKIP meals or snacks, but TRY TO make them LOW CAL such as fruit, yogurt, 
or granola bar.
One of my favorite snacks is 2 teaspoons of fresh ground peanut butter - no salt or sugar-
& light chocolate soy milk with 2 teaspoons of guava jelly.

Breakfast can be any one item such as an egg with ham- skip the bread if possible - rye or sourdough if necessary, not white bread which turns immediately to sugar in the blood. 
oatmeal, peanut butter, bran muffin. Personally I like Tuna on an English sourdough muffin.

Lunch as previously described can be yogurt, salad, or fruit or a combo, or 2 slices of deli meat
on one slice of rye, or sourdough bread with mustard. Personally, I like Mayo, but___

Dinner is the biggest meal for most of us and that's where we really need to count as above
If you have a big hand, then your portions are going to count higher-{G}.

Once you write down your consumption for one week, you will realize where & when the offending load comes from, and will be better able to work out your daily MEAL PLAN
with very little forethought
